About the Author

Kaylee Farnes is a college student at Utah State University, majoring in elementary education. Kaylee was born in Southern California but grew up in Sandy, Utah since the age of two. She knew since middle school that she wanted to attend college at USU and didn't apply anywhere else. It ended up being the place that changed her life, as she went through many experiences, met tons of people, made lots of friends, and found the love of her life. She married her best friend, Christopher Farnes on May 11th, 2013 at the age of 22.

Since the third grade Kaylee knew that she wanted to be a writer. She grew up writing stories on her computer and hopes to someday become a best selling author. She started writing "Roomies" as a sort of memoir of her first few years of college, but it turned into a story of fictional characters based on the experiences of her and her roommates in college, written like a television sitcom.

You can read all about Kaylee's day-to-day life on her personal blog: When the Cows Come Dancing Home. She also has another blog, Mrs. Farnes Fish Pond, all about her future teaching career.  You can also follow her on BloglovinTwitter and Instagram to stay updated with the most recent "Roomies" episodes. And don't forget to donate to help keep this blog possible!
